When I ride, I wear an open faced helmet. I'll admit that it's not as safe as a full faced helmet but it's a choice that I've made. As a result I have had all kinds of problems with my eyes tearing up at high speed. I've searched long and hard for a set of goggles that didn't look stupid but also do a good job of protecting my eyes. Up until recently I've used a $20 pair of cheapies that are nothing more than wrap-around sunglasses with foam rubber gaskets and an elastic strap. They look good enough and did an acceptable job, as long as you were moving. If you stopped, they would fog up in an instant. I needed something better.
My search lead me to a company called PanOptx Their goggles/sunglasses feature anti-fog coated, double paned lenses separated by an insulating air space, surgical grade foam rubber, multiple vents to provide breathing space and filtration for the eyes and a multitude of lens tints including, made to order prescription lenses. I'll admit that these little beauties are not cheap, but neither are your eyes.
So, how do they fit and feel? Fantastic! They are so comfortable and they look great. Not only can I use them for motorcycling, but I can use them on my mountain bike and also take them skiing. I highly recommend them.
